Tuition - Youth Development
amaAmbush is passionate about their youth development programs. We have partnered with various organisations to provide marimba tuition to the youth in previously disadvantaged communities.
One of these organisations is the Music Therapy Community Clinic (MTCC). MTCC provides support in the way of music therapy sessions and after-school music groups in previously disadvantaged areas in Cape Town. One of its aims is to strengthen and empower young people in Heideveld to channel their energy into working towards their dreams. These amaAmbush trained marimba bands have started living their dream of being able to perform at numerous events.
Another organisation that amaAmbush is working with is the South African Education & Environment Project (SAEP). SAEP is an organisation that works with learners at township High Schools offering extra mural classes in the Arts and tutoring in academic subjects.
